New Contract Awarded for New Meat Processing Plant in Pakistan

We are proud to announce that we have been appointed as the main door supplier for the new state-of–the-art Halal Meat Slaughtering Facility for Fauji Fertilizer Bin Quasim Ltd. (FFBL) of Pakistan.

The project was passed by the Government of Sindh Environmental Protection Agency in December 2013.

FFBL is the leading fertilizer manufacturing company in Pakistan and is a member of the largest fertilizer manufacturing/marketing group in the country.

The new build of the meat slaughtering facility will have the capacity to slaughter larger volumes of cattle, goats and sheep each day.

Thermo has been contracted as the main supplier of sliding and personnel doors. Over the next few months we will produce over 200 chill, carcass chill, freezer and fire doors for the large slaughtering facility.

The site for the slaughter house is located near port Bin Qasim, Karachi. Construction works is currently underway and the build is expected to take at least 12 months.
